Forged Design provides custom metal fabrication throughout North York, from residential renovations to commercial fit-outs.
North York has a mix of large detached homes and a growing number of new builds, and both keep us busy.
On larger homes we are often brought in for staircases: open riser designs, steel stringers with wood treads, glass balustrades, and railings that carry through several floors. These are usually the visual centrepiece of a renovation, and they need to be right.
On new builds and major renovations we work from drawings alongside the builder, which lets us catch problems early rather than fabricating something that will not fit.
A staircase is structural as well as decorative. We build with that order of priority.
We also take on gates, fencing, planters and exterior railings for North York properties, along with commercial work along the main corridors.

We are comfortable pricing from drawings, coordinating with other trades, and working to a construction schedule.
Where a design will be difficult or expensive to build, we say so early and suggest alternatives that keep the intent but make sense in metal.
